1. Welcome to "Fat Logic"!

Dear friends, family, stumblers and small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri!

Welcome to “Fat Logic”!

“Where we put the fat...in logic?”

Sounds perplexing doesn’t it? Allow me to explain.

The purpose of "Fat Logic!" is simple. To prove (albeit it not conclusively...yet at any rate) that fat has been nutritionally vilified in favour of societies staple carbohydrate sources, and that these recent changes in our evolution nutritionally may well be underlying many serious potential health risks.

We at "Fat Logic" are curious to find some sort of truth in a world where scientific “evidence” is often confusing if not nonexistent, is then disseminated by a relatively unintelligent mass media that is prone to over exaggeration and media hype and gimmicks, not to mention the outright lies and host of political and economic prejudices that bias every step of the information ladder!

The truth? Well, we admit, we may never find it! We’re not totally disillusioned, but, at least we might prove that fat isn't as bad as we think it is for human consumption. Indeed, it may even be preferable as a fuel source to carbohydrates!

Health is an elusive and multifaceted concept (probably much like happiness), but this site exists to debate, theorise, examine, hypothesis, test and reassess based on results, just ONE aspect of health, namely, how eating more fat (and often by virtue more protein than the average person might consume) and in turn less carbohydrate, might lead to improved health over someone’s former state of health, related to their former dietary intake.

Admittedly that summary is somewhat vague, but more specifics are just a click away and once completed and uploaded might include such interesting posts as:

1) The homepage that you are currently on! Ohh what joyous fun, a cyclical link!

2) What do you mean “high-fat”? ...What?...Ha, fat chance!

3)  The Fat Chance Challenge? Guinea pig? Me? “Fat Chance”!? Test or die: The proof is in the pudding, the really fatty low carbohydrate one...

4)  Recipes for success...something to chew the fat over!

5) Evolutionary theory and Palaeolithic Nutrition? Who are you calling a monkey?!

6) Science 1001...does that mean we get to blow stuff up?

7) Why should I be eating a high fat diet? I don’t want to die!! The evidence put forth...

8) Results are in, results are out...

9) Reflections, what ifs, and “your test it terribly inaccurate and I will infer nothing from it”

Anyone and everyone is welcome to join in , whether just by reading some of the ideas and scientific articles quoted here, to use it as a stepping stone to other great thinkers and resources, to examine our results objectively and to see for yourself what happens or, better still, try the experiment on yourself and see what happens!!

There is far more to come, but then, this is only the main page! So stop pressuring me! As more content gradually becomes available, and I finally start to connect links together, click somewhere else and explore the intricacies of a nutritional premise that praises bacon like a demigod...

Yours in fatty coated neuronal impulses (otherwise known as thought, and which are largely dependent upon fat based “myelin sheaths” to insulate them and allow them to function problem, a testament in itself to our need for fat in our bodies, at least to some extent),
